Multivariate Archive of X-ray Images(MAXI)
As part of an effort to illustrate that it is possible to publish data tailored to an individual project or an institute's own need, GAVO built a simple web service to accommodate the need of data sharing and viewing.
In a collaboration with Alexis Finoguenov of the XMM-Newton group at MPE, we created a format of data release which allows observers to understand and locate the cluster structure better. We built a web application which ensures an easy access to the data release. The service includes data sharing and viewing via Aladin.
At the moment we have released the data of a recently published a XMM observation of A3266 and a Chandra observation of M84.
